Review by hotel critic
Located right in the centro, just behind a Shell gas station, this hotel strikes a pragmatic balance between comfort and value. The rooms, while a bit dim, are clean and equipped with efficient air conditioning, making for a restful stay. Breakfast is delightfully above average, which is a pleasant surprise for a hotel of this nature. I found the on-site steakhouse impressively good, though it's worth noting it remains closed on Mondays. For those longing to explore local flavours, Iraja 2 nearby serves an exceptional moqueca fresh fish stew. Convenience is enhanced with a mere 10-minute walk to the Rodoviaria and railway station, facilitating easy travel. A word of caution: watch the dynamic pricing on the credit card reader to ensure transactions occur in Reais. All considered, this hotel offers enticing value in a prime location for discerning travellers.
